I am a postgraduate LLM, LLB and qualified LPC holder. I completed my undergraduate study at Manchester Metropolitan University, using my dissertation to explore the extent by which Law could utilised to ensure sustainability in the face of climate change. I was a member of the Crown Prosecution Service scrutiny panel, working with solicitors and fellow students to evaluate recent cases. Whilst part time work was unavailable during covid, I co-founded two projects with a sustainable business model in mind; namely, a shoe regeneration business and an online vintage clothes store.I returned to Northumbria University to Master in Law and complete the Legal Practice Course. Conducting practical legal research, interviewing and providing advice to real clients for family matters in the Student Law Office equipped me with practical experience to supplement the hard skills developed over my four years of study. My LLM dissertation focused upon the contentious issue of law reform for cohabitees, underpinning the study and pro bono work undertook during the LPC. I enjoy experiencing new cultures, broadening my horizons and learning new skills. I have recently returned home after travelling through South East Asia, where I created YouTube channel gaining over a thousand views, documenting the trip.
