For a few years I’ve worked Day/Night shifts at Fast Fuel Mount Evelyn serving customers with not only their fuel but also serving them with a wide range of available food options whilst also serving coffees. Other responsibilities of this job includes cleaning and maintaining the property, checking and stocking product sold within the store which includes handling deliveries and checking that all products have in fact been delivered. I then store the product respectfully and mainting a clean storage area and work enviroment. All of this and providing an overall enjoyable customer service and troubleshooting problems that may occour in the facility. I was also in charge of the facility during after hours including the responsibility of locking up the shop, handling money, paper work for petrol dip readings and preparing the facility for the morning workers the next day.

For a year I worked at Thomas Cook. My position was pickingand packing stock within warehouses that this company owns and supplies. Within this facility I was in charge of picking correct orders that supply chains as well as customers have purchased via online. Products were found amongst the warehouses using a stock code language which depicts its location, its shelf position, along with its year of production and size. Other responsibilities included stock checking the warehouses, unloading 40+ foot long containers, working together as a team to ensure all product has been properly stored and put away in its correct location. This also included cleaning and maintaining these warehouses. I was also responsible for packing orders correctly and safely using the on site software that was provided while labeling these boxes correctly, providing the correct weight and amount of items stored within said box. This software allowed us to check on hand/available stock, also locations of said stock as well as updating said locations if needed. The orders then will be collected and prepared for delivery. I was also responsible driving stock from warehouse to warehouse, even to the post office to collect return orders which i would then deliver to its correct area and coordinate with on site workers and on site packers to make sure everyone has the stock they needed to complete their order. I have also got experience with using an electric packing stacker and pallet jacks to safely move stock from high up locations to ground level.
