Currently the Managing Partner of a value-oriented investment partnership focused on investing in real asset business (energy, materials and heavy industry) with a specific focus on opportunities arising from the ongoing transition to a low carbon economy. From an investing perspective, I aim to support my clients goals of having an impact and earning a return, a goal that can be accomplished by investing in solutions oriented companies operating in difficult to decarbonize but economically critical industries. The decarbonization of real asset businesses is at the core of achieving economy wide decarbonization.I have previous energy and mining related work experience in private equity, credit analysis and government policy. I combine a fundamentals based approach to individual companies with in-depth capital cycle analysis and a focus on the supply side constraints of commodity production to assess compelling investment opportunities.
