Full Stack Engineer
Current- Designed and Built backend CCTV system integration, features included real-time streaming using WebRTC, 24-hour cloud backup (S3), AI integration and clipping video on point of interest. The system is deployed by the Hong Kong Government, covering four shorelines and two residential estates.- Developed a building inspection report platform integrated with AI for defect detection, featuring manual data editingtools (annotation tools) and automated generation of building inspection reports compliant with HKHA standards.- Built a real-time dashboard incorporating people-counting camera integration for the Hong Kong Waterfront Carnival.- Contributed to the development of the Smart Command Theatre (Beanie 6.0) in Unity, including integrating real-time IoT sensor data and alerts, enabling IoT device lookup in 3D space, and incorporating city building construction progress.- Developed, refactored, and enhanced the existing backend system and Carsh mobile application. Rewrote the existing codebase from JavaScript to TypeScript, and built microservices to handle integration with car damage detection AI and drawing segmentation on detected areas.- Migrated AWS server located in Ohio to the Hong Kong region to reduce user latency.- Managed application backend infrastructure using Docker, Docker Compose and creating application boilerplate and standard for mobile (React Native), web (React) and backend (NestJS) used across multiple projects.- Managed AWS infrastructure (IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, SES, SNS), Conducted regular security and billing checks.- Collaborated with UI/UX designers across multiple projects to built both web and mobile applications using React and React Native.
