Manager, Workforce Development And Continuing Education

Responsible for achieving enrollment and financial goals through managing all aspects of the Workforce Development and Continuing Education department which included 190 programs in 16 locations. Responsibilities include: planning, development, implementation, and marketing of the college’s workforce development and non-credit courses for the West Campus. Coordinate initiatives with local businesses & industries, Tri-County Chamber of Commerce, school districts, community groups, economic development organizations, and agencies to design training that meets customized and general needs. Accomplishments: Wrote and received grant funding to create a free GED program which had a success rate of 80%. Also received funding to establish a free summer Teen College Camp for at-risk teenagers in which the participants were paid to attend. Established workforce development training programs with Borough of Pottstown and other local companies. Implemented an Elementary School Spanish program for the Spring-Ford School District. Started a satellite operation at the Western Center for Technical Studies to offer vocational non-credit courses.
