In the three years that I served as the Research and Advocacy Coordinator for CHRD, Iproduced statements, press releases and annual reports on a wide array of human rights issues.I wrote numerous press releases, UN submissions, reports, and I have written op-eds forHong Kong Free Press, Open Democracy, National Review, The Diplomat, and ForeignPolicy. I have been a leader in drafting joint letters for sign on by the organizations workingon China and the communities China impacts, including PEN America I have advocated forchange at the United Nations and working with other governments. I helped lead the organization in its online advocacy and helped developed strategic partnerships though joint initiatives and advocacy.

Served as a spokesperson for Amnesty on China work, doing more than a hundred interviews per year, and developed relationships with journalists in the China press corp.Engaged with internal and external stakeholders to achieve human rights change. Served as a project manager for the China Death Penalty project, formulating strategic goals for the project, theories of change, and outputs. Helped to maintain and grow Amnesty International’s contacts.
