CurrentThe Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is a federally-funded job training program for older, unemployed, limited-resource jobseekers. SCSEP provides job search support and pays participants to volunteer weekly at nonprofit and governmental agencies.● Consistently exceeded administration-dictated goals, which included transforming low program enrollment into over-enrollment within several months (from 140 to 160+ participants). ● Designed and executed an outreach plan; built relationships with 30+ nonprofit agencies.● Transformed job search support; 2.5x more participants hired in 2023 than in 2022. ● Manage a $1,100,000+ program budget (federal grant from The Department of Labor). ● Supervise 8 - 12 office personnel who manage payroll, job coaching, and enrollment.● Developed a dozen job training opportunities for English as a Second Language Speakers.● Expanded job training opportunities, added dozens of new assignments across industries. ● Planned, implemented, and analyzed two strategic plans that connected SCSEP applicants and participants with 200+ job training assignments.● Led the consolidation of two offices, including transferring personnel and equipment.● Streamlined various essential processes, including program enrollment and payroll.
