CurrentWilliam is of counsel in the Vorys Houston office and a member of the taxation group. His practice focuses on property tax law. William is experienced in all areas of Texas Property Tax including market and equal and uniform value appeals, delinquent tax suits, exemption qualification and appeals (including charitable organizations, religious organizations, schools, community housing development organizations, pollution control property and implements of husbandry), economic incentives, agricultural and wildlife valuation, rollback tax disputes, delinquent tax suits and general civil litigation issues relating to property tax appeals.William’s practice includes property tax appeals to Texas district courts, subsequent appeals to Texas appellate courts and the Texas Supreme Court. He has represented clients with a wide variety of property types including corporate campuses, manufacturing facilities, retail portfolios, hotel portfolios, national banks, special use properties, distribution facilities, apartment portfolios, health care properties, medical office buildings, skilled nursing facilities, vacant land and business personal property.
