Responsible for coordinating and supervising neighborhood resident engagement to improve neighborhood stability and wellness; while helping residents find transformation through service, crisis assistance and training in spiritual formation, social justice and civic action.

Provided supervision and support to team of 18 staff who work in community organizing roles on issues around public safety. Completed monthly and quarterly reports (quantitative and qualitative) to funders on progress of grant requirements, deliverables and outputs. Forged new partnerships and strengthened existing partnerships with external stakeholders. Represented organization at various meetings with elected officials, members of clergy, law enforcement and community partners around public safety matters.

Provide support to staff assigned to receive intake calls from the community on reports of child abuse or neglect. Provide support to staff assigned to investigate allegations of child abuse or neglect. Conduct ongoing training of initial assessment and access staff.

Supervise professional foster parents who parent youth in an international foster care program.Facilitate trainings for foster families and agency staff.Ensure foster families are maintaining their foster care license.Ensure an appropriate level of supervision is maintained in each foster home.

Maintain a caseload of 8-10 families and 20-30 children who live with their parents and are in danger of being placed outside of the home due to child abuse or neglect.Ensure safety of children by conducting weekly home visits and placing services in the home.Maintain accurate records and documentation of events related to the case. Attend court hearings as necessary in the event children were detained by the Bureau of Milwaukee Child Welfare

Maintain caseload of 14-16 families and 25-40 children who have been placed outside of the home into foster care due to child abuse or neglect.Provide parents with services ranging from AODA treatment to anger management to ensure the safe return of their children when they complete their individual programs.Prepare reports and testify in court as to the progress of the parents towards completing their court ordered conditions for the return of their children.
