I led the Port Moresby Office for NES Global Ltd as the Country Manager. I have 7 years’ recruitment experience spanning 3 countries and two international companies. Prior to recruitment I worked for a further 9 years in property specialising in property and property law.I am lucky enough to have had experience working across many sectors, however most of my direct experience has been related to the resources and property industries. I have had the opportunity to recruit across all sectors of the oil and gas industry from highly technical white collar recruitment to trades and labour and from upstream drilling and gas gathering to downstream product refinement and sales. My property related recruitment experience has covered similarly diverse areas of business including sales, construction, infrastructure and professional advisory. Throughout my career I have managed to gain a thorough understanding of many core roles within my chosen field; I have worked on many permanent and temporary recruitment assignments. I have a full understanding of the different pressure they assert on clients and am able to react accordingly. I have experience across all client focused activities including, Business development, Client account management, Leading bulk recruitment drives and carrying out international retained assignment roles for highly technical staff. I have also led teams and managed both projects and recruiters working on those projects on behalf of clients. Within my current role as the PNG Manager I lead a team of national recruiters specialising in industries including Oil and Gas, Mining, Infrastructure, Construction, Banking and Logistics. My other roles include business development activities and driving forward expat recruitment into PNG for retained clients. I enjoy the challenges involved in PNG recruitment and relish the diverse nature of the work that continue to teach me new skills every day.
