Over 30 years of ESG investment experience, beginning with an internship during business school at KLD in Cambridge, the first SRI research firm in the U.S. My experience includes working on sharia mandates at Wellington Management, to best in class SRI investing at State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) where I was global Head of ESG.My last few years at SSgA were dedicated to developing a thematic, listed equity, environmental solutions strategy, GEOS, one of the first thematic impact strategies in North America. I have over 16 years of experience managing thematic, climate solutions strategies in clean tech and environmental solutions.For the past 14 years, I have been managing GEOS from Essex Investment Management in Boston, where the GEOS track record approaches 14 years, managed with the same team and investment process. Essex is an independent, employee owned public equity investment firm based in Boston, with an office in Chicago. We invest primarily in small and mid-cap securities, honing on growth themes globally. Active educating future environmental investors, with guest lectures and intern engagement with Babson College, Washington College, Wall Street Diversity Accelerator, Middlebury College, Bates College, Columbia University. Outside my work, I play in the outdoors, whether cycling, skiing or spending time paddling on the ocean.
