Marketing Specialist
CurrentDigital/Social/Print• Direct, manage, plan and create all marketing and brand media/collateral: digital, social and print. • Work with outside print and digital designers to provide strategy, CD, PM and budgeting on projects like brochures/postcards/ads, event booth materials, infographics, digital ads, websites and digital downloads. • Work with outside software developers to provide direction, PM and budgeting on web projects.• Strategize and forecast media/collateral needs in collaboration with executive team.• Maintain website, including creating new content and pages, as well as planning site redesigns.• Create and plan presentations and webinars.• Manage social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Ensure timely user engagement. Ad Campaigns• Create and manage digital and print ad campaigns, direct outside digital and print designers, collaborating with sales teams to identify segments, and manage print vendors.• PPC ads on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Google AdWords.• Digital ads on relevant blogs and websites. • Email campaigns.• Direct mail targeted to industry/association events.Analytics• Analyze campaigns using tools such as HubSpot and Google Analytics.• Monitor metrics to improve conversion rates and increase number of downloads and leads.• Present reports to leadership on success of efforts.Public Relations• Manage PR and communications.• Ideate and write press releases.• Initiate and grow relationships with editors.• Develop pitches.• Distribute PRs through various PR channels and website.Tradeshows & Conferences• Plan for tradeshows/conferences.• Coordinate with sponsors on dates, budget, booth, attendees and setup.• Ship items to and from event, ensure attendees have flights, accommodations and schedules.Writing & Editing• Case studies, white papers, articles, blog posts, emails, copy for print, digital or social. • Copyediting.• Persuade engineers to write blog posts.
