Will Peets is the Chief Investment Officer of Passport Digital Holdings LLC and portfolio manager for the digital asset strategies at Passport Capital, a San Francisco-based investment firm dedicated to investing in secular change. Prior to his focus on digital currency strategies, Will was the Chief Risk Officer for the firm’s long/short equity hedge funds where he and his team informed the portfolio construction process and provided guidance on position sizing, hedging, and the alignment of risk taking with the firm’s investment views. Preceding Passport, Will spent 7.5yrs at MSCI consulting hedge funds on their use of Barra and Risk Metrics in their portfolio construction process. Will is also an active venture investor, with investments spanning geospatial analytics, real time data discovery, and digital asset storage infrastructure and investment platforms. He's an early investor in Orbital Insight, Dataminr, Starcity, Survata, Anchorage, and Bitwise among others.He is an advisor to Bitwise and works closely along with many companies in the crypto currency and decentralized finance space.Will graduated from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, where he earned his B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Finance and currently sits on the Deans Advisory Council for Orfalea College of Business.
