William Porayouw is a Yale senior with key interests in U.S. foreign policy, development, and media. This past summer, he was a search analyst at the Metro Manila branch of Endeavor Global, which supports & invests in 30+ high-impact entrepreneurs in the Philippines. He is also a recent graduate of IBM’s 8-week Accelerate consulting program and was awarded a Venture Leader Scholarship by Quest Ventures to study venture capital at Singapore Management University. With an academic background in U.S. foreign policy, Porayouw is a former intern at the Pentagon, where he wrote briefs for senior defense leaders on the Indo-Pacific, Ukraine, and China. He is a research assistant on the Middle East for Iranian-American author Roya Hakakian and was a World Fellows student liaison for former Philippine Senator Bam Aquino. He also studied sustainability in public policy in LATAM at Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ), Ecuador's top university. On campus, he has interned at the Yale School of Management’s Center for Customer Insights and the Yale Tobin Center for Economic Policy.
