Project management has always been a part of my work and I have a certificate in professional project management.WHAT HAVE I DONE?Until recently, I was an information services (IS) engineer who was responsible for lifecycle planning, corporate cyber security and budgeting for the manufacturing network and server infrastructure. Successes included lifecycle plans which ensured up-to-date and optimized technology platforms, in addition to, overhauling an inadequate enterprise backup system. As an IT leader, I implemented server virtualization, established a disaster recovery program, created and chaired the change management process, and managed new and ongoing leases and contracts totaling $2 million per year. HOW DO I WORK? Colleagues know me as a highly motivated, creative and efficient leader who can always be trusted to follow through on commitments. While I look at the big picture, I still pay attention to the details. I am able to work independently, but I’m at my best collaborating with others.
