Created algorithmic stock trading programs written in Python. Built a sentiment analysis engine for financial articles. The system worked by scraping websites for stories, storing them in a MongoDB instance, and cleaning the data. Natural language processing was applied via nltk and spacey libraries to determine the sentiment of articles. This was used in conjunction with trading algorithms to make profitable stock trades.Built multiple websites with python, Flask, and jQuery.Read and reviewed over 100 programming books during this time period.

I created the company Bluefire Engineering hiring 3 employees. The company was engaged in services related to Bitcoin.Operated and designed a bitcoin mining farm. Many of the machines were custom ASIC hardware designs from different vendors. I also built a bitcoin news website. The site had an interactive bitcoin price display and offered information and news about bitcoin. I wrote over 40 articles about innovations in crypto-currencies, market analysis, and innovations in the bitcoin space.

I played poker professionally for four years. At the end of 2013 I was inducted into the Pokerstars Hall of Fame.During my poker career I developed an expertise in big data analysis along with the development of game theory optimal solutions. Analyzed data from hands in a PostgreSQL database.I worked on a poker training and coaching site, doing web programming and video content creation.My best live tournament finishes were 4th place in Latin American Poker Tour, Rosario (2010), and 3rd place World Poker Tour, Johannesburg (2012).I played over 15 million hands of poker lifetime, and would play up to 20 tables simultaneously online.

I worked as a software engineer at Lockheed Martin for three years. Most of the projects I worked on were in Java in a Windows environment. Additionally, I worked with C# and JavaScript.The applications I worked on dealt with imagery and video coming back from UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles). One of the main systems I worked on was over one million lines of code, and my responsibility was to develop the client side of the application in Java.One responsibility I had was for the deployment of the Geo-spatial applications. I created multiple installers using Install Anywhere, so that the app could be deployed in a variety of environments.I was also tasked with turning existing applications into a Service Orientated Architecture. This was done using SOAP specification. Completing this task allowed users to request specific parts of the application rather than install the entire application.Another project I worked on was the next generation of Army communication networks. My responsibility here was to create a secure messaging platform in Java. Security and Encryption code that I wrote with implemented in Java using Ant to build, and ClearCase/ClearQuest for version control.

Java was the language for programming the client side, and JavaScript was used for the web design and interfacing with the Google Maps API.
