Working with the PMO, we created the KPIs, metrics, and reports by which we will measure the project portfolio. As part of this effort, I led an Agile team to build the solution’s data warehouse, business intelligence reports, and front-end user interface. - Moen Corporation: Moen is experiencing unprecedented growth. Working with the Global Product Development teams, we rolled out a Stage-Gate methodology. We automated various processes using SAP, Microsoft Project Server, and SharePoint. I also developed and delivered the courseware for U.S. and China.- eLearning Courseware: The project management market was lacking an essential course teaching project managers how to build a plan from beginning-to-end. Partnering with GoSkills.com, I created the eLearning course to meet this market need. The training is also available as an embedded app in Microsoft Project.

As an independent author, it is a painful process to produce eBooks. The eBook Toolkit is a labor of love that I fund and develop so independent authors can publish professional eBooks.

MSPE is a leading knowledge transfer company focused on the project and portfolio management community. In this role, I write, train, and consult with clients. My primary focus area is to teach industry best practices for defining and maintaining strategic project portfolios.As a book author, I primarily write best practices for managing project portfolios, building stage gate processes, and automating manual processes. In my business leadership role, I ensure all our clients receive the best service we can provide.- Wrote and published five of the most popular books to help organizations leverage Microsoft technologies to enhance project collaboration.- Training – I deliver training to help customers learn the powerful portfolio and project management technologies at their disposal, and how to drive organizational change management.

Pcubed is a leader in the portfolio, program, and project management industry. I ran Pcubed’s Solutions team and played a significant role in evolving Pcubed’s profit through the development of software intellectual property.- Delivery Hub: When faced with complex projects, our clients require software to track and manage the effort. With my product development skills, I led an effort to create Pcubed's Delivery Hub; which packages our intellectual property, a data warehouse, and a reporting solution into a packaged software application.- ExxonMobil: Managed a multi-year effort to enable team collaboration and management of a multi-billion-dollar portfolio for advancement and breakthrough technologies.- Office Depot: To remain competitive and improve shareholder value, I led the PMO for a global transformation project, which includes implementing Oracle's ERP supply chain logistics and inventory control modules.- New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA): Working with the Office of the CIO and a newly formed PMO, we designed an award-winning PMO that set the standard for accountability and streamlined IT project delivery.

Sample engagements:- Southwest Airlines – Supported an effort to streamline and automate the corporate project management office’s standards of practice. These projects reported directly to the CFO of the airline and ensured projects were held accountable to meet strict internal guidelines and federal regulations.- Sutter Health – This organization was running a ten-year capital improvement project to ensure patient and employee safety in the event of a significant earthquake. I designed the processes and technologies to streamline the management of the client’s portfolio and provide visibility into cost overruns and delays.

- Formed Office Collaborators to provide program and project management services in the New England area.

Maximo is an enterprise software product used for the maintenance of facilities, vehicle fleets, manufacturing plants, and work-order based industries.- Recognizing a new trend toward handheld and wireless devices, I worked with the CTO and a work group of core customers to create the first portable version of the company's Maximo work management system.- Recognizing our client's needs to schedule large scale maintenance projects, I defined the requirements and managed the development teams integrate Maximo with Microsoft Project.

Cabot is a global leader in specialty chemicals and performance materials.- When I arrived at Cabot, we had more than fifteen financial management systems. Working with the Office of the CIO, we defined a strategy to implement a global ERP system. I led the project to implement Oracle's JD Edwards OneWorld suite of financial software modules.- Our Research & Development labs had more than fifty years of material, but it was all in paper format. I created a project to scan all the lab notes and make them searchable via a web browser.

- Recognizing the rapid growth in the biotech market, I formed a working group made up of customers and industry experts. This effort led to the successful release of our first vertical product, BioWorks.- Meet with our customers to understand their business needs and build specifications for our developers to enhance our software products.
