I have enjoyed giving back to all the communities in which I have lived and beyond in civic groups such as Knights of Columbus, Elks and Special Olympics. I have supported our troops who are on active duty and those that have come home. I have over 30 years experience in hospitality management running historical inns with restaurants all over New England. Served as Director of Training for District One Emergency Medical Services in Vermont. The past 7 years I was in the Biomedical Technician field as a medical equipment technician doing preventative maintenance, calibration and repairs on all kinds of medical equipment in the field. I was a road warrior and love to travel with my work. I have great time management skills great work ethics. I work well with little to no supervision but I also work well with in a team. I learn very quickly and am a life learner. As I search for that next chapter in my work life i look back at my amazing career life and I see every career I have taken on every board I have sat on was to help others. My plan is to work for another 15 years to continue to grow to continue to give back to others to be mentored and to mentor others.

Emergency Medical Technician ParamedicEmergency Medical Services Sep 2004 - Aug 2022As a Director of Training for District One Franklin and parts of Grand Isle County Vermont that combined over 3000 first responders it was my job to work with doctors to create the best and safest medical direction for those in the field, from drugs used to what standing protocol there should be. As Infection Control Officer for VT EMS I had to work with Universal Precautions, as well as all OSHA requirements. I was the first contact if someone got a needle stick or transported someone that had a highly contagious and dangerous disease. As an EMT I saved, sustained and made comfortable lives on their worst day and my best day in VT, NH, MA, AZ, CO and NC I worked with all family members not only the patient as it can be a confusing and worry some time for the families.
