Hello--My name is Will Clark and I am currently a Category Manager for FedEx Services. I manage annual spend across multiple suppliers and multiple operating companies within FedEx Corporation. I have strong communication and interpersonal skills, including executive presentation skills as I frequently report cost savings, market analysis, and initiative progress to senior directors and VP executive leadership as well as active communication with stakeholders to develop proper sourcing strategies to meet current business needs. I have very strong analytical skills as I use data analysis and manipulation daily to uncover the FedEx operating company’s questions and concerns involving spend and sourcing suppliers. On top of my analytical mindset, I have experience working with Power BI, Excel, Teams and other Microsoft office products.I graduated with a degree in business analytics and supply chain management from the University of Tennessee, and I am currently pursuing my MBA online at Colorado State University. I have four years of operational management experience before my time at FedEx from two separate companies; Terminix and Galls. As the leader of my branches, I would manage all the day-to-day operations, planning, and reporting of the branch which allowed me to build competency in multitasking and time management. I actively managed the branches multimillion dollar P&Ls, supplier and customer contracts, investigated variances vs budget/forecast and drove cost savings when applicable. I had also built strong relationships with all my employees, business partners, customers, and suppliers; frequently having tough conversations, pushing back and influencing others for impact – even those who are more senior than myself.
