I was a member of the Global Team supporting the Quality Leadership System Vehicle Operations (QLS-VO) which is installed in forty-five Ford plants around the world. The application supports nineteen languages. I led the global teams that converted the Analysis and Reporting application and the Plant Update application from VB6 to VB.Net. The seven applications that make up the QLS-VO system are released twice each year. I built and tested the self-update installation package for the system. I revised the training materials for the QLS-VO System Administrators. I also assisted with three training classes for the QLS-VO System Administrators. I implemented batch feeds from a new release of Nationwide Customer Information / Business Intelligence (BI) system to the legacy system. I wrote a nightly batch process that automated updates to the Association Key Manager table with data from their data warehouse. I performed the initial load of data to the Agent Visibility tables and then implemented the nightly updates to Visibility. I was system administrator for the Line Control Systems. This was a group of programs that included Production Scheduling, Data Collection on the Plant Floor, Production Reporting and Invoicing. As an employee, my responsibilities progressed through multiple roles in hands-on development and coordinating development of solutions for plant floor systems / applications for two manufacturing plants. I provided production troubleshooting and problem resolution daily plus supported the nightly batch cycle as needed. I designed solutions for production scheduling, data collection and production tracking, BI analysis, and reporting to meet the users and plants needs and requirements.
