About William B. Robinson Iv

I have served multiple roles in instruction, courseware development, customer service, and leadership from my start as a lead waiter as a young adult to a top-level Senior Instructional System Designer on several different courseware/curriculum contracts for the military community. After college, I settled back in my hometown of Newport, NC, sandwiched between Cherry Point and Camp Lejeune's major military bases and the tourist-supported coastal "Down East" communities and beaches. Here I have gained and succeeded in a wide array of experiences and successes:• Applied Systematic Approaches to Training (SAT) including the ADDIE Model of Instructional Design throughout every project life cycle.• Conducted Front-End Analyses (FEAs) to recommend assorted training approaches and methodologies.• Used technical writing for digital and paper course content, instructor guides, and student guides as well as other required documentation.• Evaluated repetitive performance patterns and recommended potential solutions.• Designed Lesson Design Strategies (LDSs) per contract guidelines. • Developed Computer-Based Training (CBT), Instructor-Led Training (ILT), Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI), assessment items, lesson plans, student guides, evaluations, and presentations based on customer requirements.• Incorporated effective workflow processes to streamline and assure quality product delivery.• Collaborated with multiple teams of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Graphic Specialists (GSs), Programmers, and Leads simultaneously.• Implemented Microsoft Office and other privately- and government-developed technology such as AIM, MELD, Jira, PowerPoint, and Teams in all aspects of the workday.• Utilized specific published standard guidelines and practices for state, military, and private industry.• Conducted quality assessments of products to ensure customer, regulatory, and company requirements as defined in contract documents and supporting references. • Provided stand-up instruction and train-the-trainer events in multiple national locations and varying conditions. Most importantly, my family is my number one priority. I am the husband of a fantastic kindergarten teacher and a father to two intelligent adult daughters. I was raised to believe in giving back what has been so graciously offered to me including providing the best educational opportunities for my family, our local communities, nationwide businesses, and worldwide military personnel.
