I am actively searching for an entry level job as a research analyst and an Internship opportunityI am currently enrolled at William Paterson University as a candidate for Valedictorian in BS Finance with a minor in Economics. As a member of the Honors Club and nationally recognized member of the National Scholars Honor Society my responsibilities are to not only be a leader to students in need of tutoring, but also a role model that can help change peer’s lives. As an officer of the Student Managed Portfolio, we actively manage a portion of the University’s endowment. We use tools such as Bloomberg, Morningstar, and Thomson one Analytics to screen for potential investments and retrieve critical data for usage in our models. We also solicit research analysts and company personnel for conference calls and site visits.I know that it takes hard work both as an individual and as a team player, and I believe my experience as a four year Collegiate Baseball Letterman as well as Co-Captain will be a very valuable asset. I currently work two jobs in addition to Baseball while remaining active in the university community. My balance between school, athletics, and work as a Technology Consultant has really allowed me to become a very well rounded financial student. As a Technology Consultant with extensive knowledge of financial software, my responsibilities are to assist both professors and students with retrieving, using, and presenting financial data. My love for the stock market has driven me to want to become a Portfolio Manager. I have managed my personal portfolio and I would love the opportunity to learn the field from the ground up at a reputable company such as yours. In preparation for my career in asset management, I am a candidate for level 1 of the CFA exam.
