Responsible for the planning, directing, controlling and coordinating of corporate-wide quality and environmental management systems on accessories, new product & startup's. • Conceive, plan, organize, schedule, coordinate and supervise areas of quality management systems as well as specific quality functions.• Requires demonstrated technical leadership ability in working with engineers, departments, vendors, distributors/end users, sister companies, various private and governmental agencies.• Educate and train others on quality principles. Provide guidance and assistance to other engineers, laboratory technicians and managers.• Perform administrative activities necessary for the effective management of direct reports, including pay administration, setting goals and objectives, and planning, organizing, integrating and measuring the work performed. Provide performance feedback to cross functional team members for performance reviews.• Maintain, improve and expand the Milwaukee Electric Tool quality management systems in the manufacturing facilities.• Plan, conduct and coordinate quality management system internal audits and process audits to ensure compliance to established procedures, instructions and industry practice and to measure the effectiveness of improvement efforts.

Review and set Mid to Long Range Quality targets to achieve Quality Improvement, communications and Cost of Quality Goals. Develop Long term cultural paradigms through specific team oriented communication tools and disciplines to improve right first time, scrap reduction, improved customer satisfaction and safety. Responsible for developing and bringing the success of the automotive APQP approach & problem solving to the organization (PFMEA, Control Plan, Standard Work and PPAP). Responsible for supporting developing successful new process and product development and improve current product and processes.

Review and set Mid & Long Range Quality targets to achieve Plant PPM goals (Customer PPM at 60 plus at assignment, currently experiencing single digit PPM and a year to date of 4.9 PPM to our customer Nissan). Develop and maintain department budget of up to 25 people and support activates. Responsible for Supply base quality to our production lines (Since becoming Quality Manager we have aggressively reduced supplier PPM to a record - single digits consecutively. (6 Month rolling average is currently 3 PPM).Lead scrap material process and reduction actions (Scrap Reduced to less than .8% to a monthly savings of $10,000.00 or better consecutively). Ensure TS 16949 and ISO 14001 internal audits are completed & validated as scheduled. Ensure quality is maintained during program launches and process changes through aggressive application of APQP and ANPQP requirements. Primary successes have been due to continuous evaluation of current processes for quality and efficiency improvement for both Plant and Supplier through the application of Faurecia Excellence Systems of 7 Quality Basic, Standardized work, Mandatory Rules and Aggressive Process and Product audits. Ensure that TS 16949 management system requirements are established and maintained in accordance with the international standard; and, Report on the performance of the TS 16949 management systems to top management for review and as a basis for improvement of the TS 16949 management system. Manage and direct TS 16949 Coordination and DCC in efforts to maintain certification. Aggressive Development of staff by setting goals, create and implement training plans, prepare and conduct APDR's, OAR's, and job descriptions, provide positive coaching and feedback.
