Responsible for a team of 1,000 HR personnel and $100 million in spending. ■ Key architect of strategic organizational redesign of corporate headquarters, resulting in 40% fewer corporate headcount and an operating system that drove dramatic improvement in financial results, including top quartile profitability against industry benchmarks in seven of eight business units. ■ Developed and implemented an executive talent strategy that resulted in 96% retention of high-performing executives and 300% improvement in number of high performers in key senior executive positions; employee engagement metrics increased from 64% favorable to the all-industry top quartile benchmark of 76% favorable. ■ Restructured corporate HR function to drive focus on talent management, leadership culture and executive compensation while reducing headcount by 70%. ■ In partnership with the CEO of Maersk Line, developed and executed strategic corporate headquarter redesign and staffed senior positions with resulting performance exceeding industry EBIT benchmarks by 1,000 basis points from 2013-2015.
