Evaluation projects include descriptive, quasi-experimental, and randomized controlled trial studies. Experience using the National Directory of New Hires database for projects measuring earnings and employment outcomes of workers. Experience leading client-facing and external engagements, including facilitating 15 1-hour interviews on a project that required me to create interview protocols and presenting key findings to clients, research scholars, and practitioners. Provided program design and implementation support and research expertise on rapid-cycle evaluation to a mix of organizations piloting in-person and virtual math tutoring programs.Serves as a What Works Clearinghouse certified reviewer. In this role, I review, assess, and rate the rigor of studies on interventions across multiple topic areas. A U.S. Department of Education security clearance was granted to conduct this work.

Taught Quantitative Methods for Policy Analysis I during the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 terms.

Taught Introduction to Economics for five terms and Principles of Macroeconomics for one term.

This position was focused exclusively on economic research, primarily local sales taxes and motor vehicle related fees and taxes. I was primarily responsible for generating revenue estimates for state, county, and local government officials regarding county or municipal tax impositions. In addition to local government responsibilities, I forecasted revenue estimates for the motor fuel user-fee and completed fiscal impacts on legislation related to the SC Department of Motor Vehicles and the SC Department of Transportation.
