Under limited supervision: - Support all systems, including network servers and WiFi controllers. - Provide full support of systems for break/fix, install, moves, adds, changes and preventative maintenance- Responsible for a large WiFi environment supporting a large quantity of mobile devices used by Union Associates in a piece work environment.- Perform system backups and recovery for onsite servers and WiFi controllers. Monitors automated backups and procedures to ensure data integrity- Install, configure, and upgrade PCs, laptops and related equipment diagnose and troubleshoot both common and unusual hardware and software problems, perform preventive maintenance on the organization’s PC equipment, install required software patches and ensure the connectivity of PC’s laptops, handhelds and other computing devices to both the local area network (LAN) and the wide area network (WAN), set up and maintain locally connected PCs and networked printers.- Analyze and resolve any problems with the AS/400 system and the network communications hardware supporting both LAN/WAN and AS/400 traffic.- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic on all computer equipment (including but not limited to RF Equipment, PC’s Printers, WiFi Controllers , Switches, and wiring)- Coordinate all warranty and service calls with manufacturers or warranty groups.- Perform maintenance of all phone and hardware equipment with support from Telecommunications Specialist.- Train various end users on usage of PC software as needed (i.e. e-mail, printers, etc.)- Communicate timely status and all relevant project information to appropriate personnel. (Via: Incident tracking, and reporting software. Logging all tasks and keeping all information up to date)- Support all facilities technically via travel and phone support as needed for coverage.-Review network security logs using SIEM solution and report any anomalies-Prepared monthly vulnerability reports for the cybersecurity team.
