► Pioneered the Distribution Product Customization Program, an enterprise postponement system for augmenting product within the distribution network to meet rapidly changing global regulatory and customer requirements. System has created close to $160M in value.► Served as the strategic architect for Boston Scientific’s Unique Device Identification (UDI) Initiative which was instituted to provide compliance to the FDA’s Final Rule requiring that medical device manufacturers make publicly available unique device identifier product information.‒ Orchestrated the strategic plan that instituted the GS1-GTIN device identifier in human readable and auto ID format and YYYY-MM-DD expiration date format across 15,000 products as well as the submission of all required attributes to the FDA's GUDID.‒ Successfully partnered with a cross-functional matrix leadership team and proactively led 1.) The risk assessment and mitigation of impacted global systems, 2.) The development of the communication strategy and 3.) An instant offense / triage team to deploy as needed to customers experiencing any service level problems.► Program Director for Boston Scientific’s Legal Mfg. Address and EU Authorized Rep. Address change necessitated by the company’s decision to relocate from Natick, MA to Marlborough, MA and Nanterre - Paris, France to Galway, Ireland respectively.‒ Global architect responsible for the developing the strategic plan to apply the two new address changes across 11,800 products within a 6-month mandated timeline. This program included the complexity of managing the timing and approval of all regulatory submissions as well as the deployment of $20M of inventory buffer across 16 countries. ‒ Provided direct oversight over the full implementation, resolved all conflicts and unexpected barriers encountered along the way thereby completing the program on schedule while coming in $6M under budget and securing a $4.2M VIP.

► Designed and championed the Master Brand / Global Labeling Controls Initiative, the largest integration project ever undertaken at Boston Scientific.‒ Conceptualized and led the full design, development and implementation across all manufacturing plants and business units including the conversion of over 300 product families (15,000 SKUs) to the new Master Brand design and Global Labeling Controls system. Program reduced field actions by 100%, from an average of 9 per year to zero. Recognized within Medical Device Industry as “Best in Class”.‒ Architected and implemented a center-led, Corporate Design and Engineering organization where thru the concept of standardized design templates and procedures, reduced development time by 75%.‒ Consolidated over 20 plus labeling systems and processes across the organization to one standardized and centrally-led system that is 100% compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 for the design, approval and distribution of product labeling.‒ Partnered with Marketing and R&D Engineering to standardize component sizes, materials, artwork, mechanical specs, software, hardware and processes which in total generated costs savings exceeding $19M.

► In partnership with the consulting firms; Weber Shandwick (brand research) and FutureBrand (brand design), led the development and “proof of concept” testing of Boston Scientific’s new “Master Brand” design across their internal / external customer base and the successful piloting across one product line to verify “proof of concept” and lean out all processes upfront in advance of full-scale implementation.► As part of a long-term Value Improvement Project (VIP) partnership with our strategic supplier base, created a supplier owned warehouse program in Ireland and Costa Rica that reduced US supplier lead times from 8 weeks to same day deliveries and increased fulfillment levels to 100%.► Developed a US Overnight-small parcel dimensional weight study that eliminated $2M in annual costs for our US Distribution Center through the redesign and standardization of corrugate shippers. Project reduced the total number of DC shippers by 34% and dimension weight applicable shippers by 67%.

► Work stream lead for Raw Materials Inventory, a subset of Boston Scientific’s Supply Chain Optimization Project (SCOP) developed in partnership with McKinsey & Company.‒ Thru a series of plant network supplier workshops, conducted direct supplier negotiations to reduce lead time and lot size commitments (75%) resulting in an overall inventory savings of $11.2M.► Led a cross functional team that was responsible for sourcing Boston Scientific’s Packaging requirements. Achieved cost savings of 28% ($5M) and consolidated the supplier base by 87% from 112 to 14 strategic suppliers across 6 sub-categories.► Implemented both a domestic and international freight program achieving full compliance and cost savings of $2.2M.
