I want to join a small team committed to big problems. Here are just a few of the things that I'll bring to your team:1) I am quick to understand difficult problems, and will provide fresh perspective and probing questions whenever they're needed. Legal problems, data problems, political problems, engineering problems, whatever. I wear well the clothes of an insider, but I'm an outsider at heart - challenging assumptions and institutions makes me happy, and I'll chase an answer wherever it leads. 2) While I can quickly and deeply understand complicated issues, what makes me happiest is tackling them as part of a team. Whether we need to solve a problem, to deconstruct it, or to teach it, the most important thing to me is working with people who want to understand the world and its challenges so we can do something about it.
