At Denton High School I taught three levels of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and English as a Second Language (ESL) to students of diverse nationalities. While there, I led the Multicultural Bilingual Club, which worked to promote dialogues and relationships among the diverse cultures at Denton High School. I also sponsored the UIL Literary Criticism Team, an academically rigorous organization that studies knowledge of literary terms, literary history, and specific texts that differ year to year. I also taught adult ESL to parents of Denton ISD students in the evening.

I taught English to adult and teenage students in Loja, Ecuador. I attended staff development through TESOL Ecuador and Fine Tuned English Language Academy. I provided teacher training in the area of writing instruction, English pronunciation, and English conversational skills. I also translated institutional documents from Spanish to English.

Consultants meet with students one-on-one to collaborate with them and help them improve their writing.
