Experienced Lead Technical Architect with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. Skilled in data center practices including storage, servers (blade, rack-mount, HCI), virtualization platforms, Windows and Linux, solutions design, automation, and business continuity from multiple leading vendors in those respective areas. More recently, I've been focusing on honing my abilities around containers, Cloud, DevOps, development, and remote workforce solutions, while maintaining my aforementioned data center competencies. I've also done some web development work in the past using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Perl.I've applied my knowledge of programming to the automation side of the house in IT shops and data centers via scripting with VBScript (1998-2010), PowerShell (2007-present), Perl (on *nix 2010-present), Windows Batch Scripting (.bat command prompt scripts/batch files), Shell Scripting (SH & BASH: 1999-present). I routinely make use of tools for Configuration Management (Ansible) and infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform to automate deployments and implementations whenever possible.
