I lead the workload routing system in the AWS Lambda data plane which assigns more than 300 billion incoming function invokes per day to Firecracker MicroVMs to execute customer code for hundreds of thousands of customers. I am directly responsible for hiring, mentoring, coaching, and performance evaluations for the team of ten to fifteen engineers, defining the team’s forward looking technical roadmap, and ensuring stable, agile, and maintainable service operations. I led the team in the completion of a multi-year, multimillion-dollar replacement architecture for the data plane service to increase resilience against zonal outages, while improving durability of routing during host failures with multi-second failover.

Responsible for feature design, development, and operational support of the workload routing system for the AWS Lambda dataplane, while maintaining goals of single-digit millisecond latency and over 99.9% availability. Improved latency of customer requests, root caused and implemented fixes to service scaling bottlenecks, and developed continuous deployment improvements for delivering software improvements, security patches, and features.

More recently I have worked on the Amazon Spark team where we launched our product allowing people to discover, share, and shop their interests. On this team I have worked to develop many features including adding products on Spark to the Amazon wishlist, tagged interest recommendations while posting, and integration with partner teams such as Amazon Ask (Question and Answers).

I started on the Seller Pricing team in Marketplace developing systems that handle price change events for third party sellers on Amazon.com. These systems controlled features ranging from real-time price error handling, to seller facing APIs, to seller pricing dashboards.

My job at BECAT is to provide technical support to staff members in the department and users of our resources as well as provide support for our High Performance Computing (HPC) Cluster. My responsibilities include helping users with issues while trying to submit multi-core jobs on the cluster as well as develop tools for the administrative staff to use to track cluster usage. Additionally it is also my responsibility to repair and replace personal computers as necessary within the department (including, but not limited to software and hardware repair).

The two programs I have worked on at United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS) are the F-15 Tech Roll PACS program and the the F-15K PACS program. As part of the test team my job was to extensively test the PACS unite for software and hardware bugs through autorig simulations in the lab and test log analysis. My responsibilities included developing test procedures and debugging test scripts for the software team, training new team members, and writing up documentation for the team.

Provide web design and hosting for a variety of businesses, including real estate, therapy, and research groups. Both build websites from scratch, and design sites to utilize a backend such as WordPress.

Completed all types of laptop and desktop diagnostics and repairs (including printers, routers, etc) and managed customer interactions throughout the repair process. For a normal repair this would include interaction with the customer when they arrived at the store, any communications with the customer about repair status or questions about any future recommended work, and the final walk-through of the work when the customer came in to pick up the computer. During my time here I was asked to oversee and delegate work to multiple interns.

Completed computer repair, new computer builds, and data backup services for laptops, desktops, and game consoles. Took inventory, researched product pricing, and organized merchandise. I was also assigned projects that included combining useful parts of old/broken computers to make a computer available for resale.
