CurrentI have my own company Roslyn Williams PL, which provides executive coaching, facilitation, leadership and change consulting services to individuals, teams and organisations, predominantly in the public and not for profit sectors. I work out of Canberra and Sydney but deliver in all States and also overseas from time to time, in locations such as PNG, UK, Belgium, and US. I'd style my services as strength based, compassionate, client led, pragmatic and honestly great value for money!!Key influences in shaping my delivery have been Wilbur's Integral Theory, positive psychology (Fredrickson, Seligman), Intentional Change Theory (Boyatzis), Appreciative Inquiry (Cooperrider), resonant, emotionally intelligent leadership (Goleman; Boyatzis) and reflective practice (Kolb, Rolfe). Spending a couple of decades as a People Manager in the public sector has obviously impacted too, though I've learned to draw more on the client's 'gold' than be the expert who dispenses advice and solutions. My aim is to approach with warmth, openness and a spirit of curious inquiry, to unlock hope and energy, a real sense of the desired future and how people can get there. My work with individuals and teams enables them to stand back from operations, interpret their landscape, facilitate deeper thinking about their purpose, goals, leading, influencing and ' teaming' style. We tap into their current and future states, mapping the gap, their strengths, and what may hold them back. Much of the time a key interference is what playing out internally; what we tell ourselves. We work out ways forward through this, via self affirmation, reflective practice, social learning, thoughtful experimentation and proactive action - using our strengths in balance.
