I am currently in my penultimate year at Durham University, pursuing an Integrated Master’s degree in Computer Science (MEng), where I am on track for first-class honours. My academic focus is on Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering. Throughout my course, I have applied Python libraries to solve complex problems such as the Travelling Salesman Problem, image processing tasks, machine learning problems and cryptographical analysis. I have also worked with C/C++ to tackle the Shortest Vector Problem and explored functional programming through Haskell.I am a certified Microsoft Power Platform developer with over three years of experience designing and maintaining business applications. My work has involved extensive client interaction and the use of agile methodologies to deliver effective solutions.In addition to my studies, I serve as a Student Digital Leader at Durham University, where I support staff in managing SharePoint sites and Power Platform applications, enhancing productivity through automation. My contributions to the Digital Capabilities Project earned me the ‘Above and Beyond’ award at the Student Employee of the Year Awards. During the holidays, I work part-time as a software developer for ArdenIT Ltd in Nottingham. This entails developing in-house apps and automations, as well as a development service for our clients. Before attending university, I spent nearly a year as a 2nd line IT Engineer at ArdenIT Ltd, providing support to businesses in the Nottingham area. This role honed my skills in Windows and Microsoft 365 administration, networking and server architecture, and hardware repairs.I am an aspiring Software Engineer and am eager to pursue opportunities that will further develop my skills.
