In his 10 years at the company, Tessar led Skyline’s strategic growth initiatives and expansion into new markets by identifying, acquiring, integrating, and scaling the growth of its new branches, divisions, and companies.• Scaled Skyline from a retail mortgage company funding $40M per month into a multi-channel originator with $3.5B funded annually• Grew the company from 2 branches to more than 40; expanding purchase production from 20% to over 70% of funded volume• Built lead generation and business development channels for both loan officer centric and affinity-based partners• Constructed a new, Dodd Frank-compliant compensation plan for loan officers that included operational procedures and reporting to monitor results• Maintained strong, consistent production results, leading to the acquisition of Skyline by Finance of America

Tessar served as an original founder, building the company from start up to employer of 40 loan officers.• Funded in excess of $500M per year, recognized as one of the top originating mortgage brokerages in the state by Countrywide, Chase, Wells Fargo, Aegis and Provident• Initiated and managed merger between Capital Line Financial and Skyline Financial, and oversaw acquisition of three mid-sized brokerages• Facilitated one of the first joint ventures between the financial service industry and lenders utilizing the Controlled Business Arrangement model• Created a Predictive Dialer system that cut our cost-to-produce by 40%• Introduced software to consumers allowing them to access loan status on demand
