Worked closely with administrators of a struggling school district in Western Massachusetts to provide insights on how they could better assist their students to achieve a higher rate of post-secondary educational success.Performed exploratory data analysis using a large (over one million data points) cloud database. During our weekly updates I acted as the liaison between our technical team and the administrators, ensuring findings and techniques were explained in a way that could easily be understood, and used these discussions to direct our future work.Developed a directed graph visualization tool that could show the post-secondary success rate depending on the course trajectory students followed (passing a specific course, retaking a course, dropping to a lower level course, or enrolling in a higher course). This tool allowed the school administrators to quickly find which courses were the most influential on students' success, as well as key intervention points to try and get students back on a successful track.I was one of five fellows selected to give a presentation at the conclusion of the fellowship to potential partners, stakeholders, faculty, and students to share the work we did.

As an undergraduate, I added features to a pre-existing research software (C#, Java) that aimed to convert natural language questions into SQL queries. Upon graduation, I took over as the lead developer of the project and improved the accuracy and functionality of the software, leading to multiple publications in conferences and journals. I was also responsible for writing software to turn PhD students' research ideas into software (Python, Java) that could be empirically tested and published. I managed multiple undergraduate and graduate students, providing them tasks and helping them through development roadblocks.

Responsible for providing timely and constructive feedback to students on their assignments. Worked directly with professors to fine tune assignments and ensure course goals were met. Held office hours where I provided one-on-one guidance to students who were struggling or wanting to get more out of the course.
