Products include wellheads, Christmas trees, jumpers, manifolds, pipeline terminations, completion risers, valves, gaskets, seals and connectors.Lead team that took subsea production system projects through full lifecycle (system concept design - detailed product design - hand off to fabrication). Provided link layer analysis, issue- resolution, efficiency improvements, key communication with customers, resource planning, technical problem solving, people development, upward reporting, budget creation, and cost center management.ENGINEERING MANAGER, FMC TECHNOLOGIES (2009-2013)Led and managed a team of 15+ Product Engineers and Numerical Analysts in Houston and India to support the top-tensioned riser product line. The team took customer specifications through concept, product design, fabrication, assembly, test and installation. Key engineering issues included the dynamic performance of the riser pipe system in the open ocean environment.Responsible for leading engineering activities for setting the approach, guiding the work and approving the documentation, product specifications, and drawings.RISER ENGINEER, FMC TECHNOLOGIES (2005-2009)Performed and documented engineering calculations and analysis for the top tensioned riser product team.Calculations included pipe sizing for pressure, temperature, flowrate and fluid composition plus detailed analysis of threaded, clamped, and bolted connections for strength and fatigue as well as calculation of the dynamic performance of the riser pipe in the open ocean using software such as Flexcom and Ansys.

Conducted Research & Development projects with mechanical engineering expertise including cryogenic containment system design for ocean transport using fracture mechanics-based approach and software Fracture Graphic (now Signal FFS). Containment system included pressure vessels, standpipes, interconnecting piping, valves, flow control and structural supports.Conducted FEA (using Abaqus) of casing and tubing threaded connections to virtually qualify the connector for applications. Supported drilling operations with lubricity additives for torque reduction using experiments and rock cutting numerical analysis.

Responsible for ensuring assigned sheet metal forming tools were properly designed within the formability material limits of the material using numerical analysis with software Pam-Stamp.Contributed engineering analysis on variety of vehicle programs including the Hummer H2, the Pontiac Aztek, GMC Envoy, and the Chevy Blazer.
