Simultaneously provided outside sales, inside sales, project management and field training for a software development company specializing in life insurance point-of-sale illustrations and life insurance sales presentations.Outside Sales – Responsible for national new business development selling customizations to a proprietary PC based life insurance product illustration system. Sales presentations made in boardroom setting to CEO, Senior Vice Presidents, and Department Heads. New sale license fees averaged between $250,000 and $350,000 with product modifications billed at hourly rates.Inside Sales – Managed software development for key clients including American Family Insurance, American Heritage Life, and Protective Life. Responsible for assigning and coordinating development schedules for new insurance products, customer billing and invoicing, and account receivables collection.Project Management – Consulted with marketing departments and actuarial departments to assign system features and adapt programs to insurance company product specifications. Designed and implemented software regression testing matrices for periodic field releases.Training Instructor – Constructed and conducted on-site training seminars to introduce new systems to home office personnel and key field representatives. Provided live technical support for specified customer field calls.
