Provided oversight of integrated risk assessments used by management, internal audit and external auditors.• Led the revaluation of company’s balance sheet in connection with its Chapter 11 financial restructuring, which reduced debt by $700 million, annual interest cost by $60 million and annual depreciation and amortization expense by more than $40 million.• Designed & led integration of Sarbanes – Oxley into global organization and culture. • Developed accounting, financial & administrative policy for governance and control in a decentralized environment spanning 15 operating centers and 300 subsidiaries and affiliates.• Provided executive oversight over CIO and global IT function, including its rebuilding upon relocation to new corporate headquarters in Cincinnati.
