Bill Shea is a Chief Financial Officer at Black Pine Circle School. He possess expertise in finance, nonprofits, public speaking, strategic planning, fundraising and 10 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "What I loved about working for Bill was his ability to have an eye on and meet the ever-changing needs of the school’s community, parents, students, teachers, and administrators. This drove him in his choices and the direction he gave me over my years reporting to him. Bill is able to distill competing priorities and requests into logical processes that made the most sense for maximum productivity. His experience and wisdom never got in the way of his openness to suggestions, input, new ideas, technologies, and opinions. It is a delicate balance to be both a director and to allow for autonomy and agency amongst capable employees but Bill somehow struck that balance with me through the various complex projects and decisions we worked through together. I learned a great deal about knowing when to take time with decisions, to weigh options, as well as how to take decisive action when an urgent matter presented itself. None of this would matter much if it weren’t for Bill’s sense of humor, artistic ability, and dedication to service. I’m grateful to have worked for him and better for it."
