Since implementation, we have reduced our average ship time from over five days to three days and improved our on-time shipments from 84% to over 95%.• Within 2 months of my hire, stabilized the network environment, instituted security, SOP’s, and firewall protection, saving the company the cost of constantly rebuilding infected servers and client PC’s. Also implemented corporate-wide Anti-Spam and Anti-Virus solutions.• Brought EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) back in-house, saving over 60k in customer non-compliance fees during the first year alone.• Designed and implemented a portable barcode scanning solution written in VB.Net, reducing production headcount by four saving over 66K per year. • Responsible for the budget, direction, development, and maintenance of all manufacturing applications for this multi-location leader in plastic film manufacturing. • As a member of the Implementation team, reengineered business rules through the implementation of Ross Systems Renaissance C/S ERP application, resulting in real-time integration with plant Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), greater efficiency, more accurate reporting, and reduced costs through improved manufacturing controls. • Led several MES development projects along with Walsh Automation including the budgeting, design, coding, implementation and documentation of three Manufacturing Execution Systems utilizing Access and Oracle on Windows NT.
