Leads the analysis of the NC3 portfolio to achieve mission and program outcomes (cost, schedule, performance, risk, and security); establishes and maintains the portfolio system of systems risk management plan to identify, mitigate and track enterprise risks; establishes enterprise security construct to monitor and report on cyber and supply chain risks, issues, and mitigation plans; and develops mission focused future capability plans to inform NC3 modernization investment decisions.

Deputy Director, Cyber Warfare Division with current responsibilities to include oversight of the development and acquisition of capabilities for cyberspace operations and the oversight of DoD Cyber Security efforts for Weapon Systems and Critical Infrastructure.

The Military Assistant provides direct support to the DASD for Industrial Policy who is the principal advisor to the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment for:Developing Department of Defense policies for the maintenance of the United States defense industrial base. Executing small business programs and policy. Conducting geo-economic analysis and assessments. Providing recommendations on budget matters related to the defense industrial base. Anticipating and closing gaps in manufacturing capabilities for defense systems. Assessing impacts related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Monitoring and assessing impact of foreign investments in the United States. The office also plays a critical role in representing Department of Defense interests on interagency committees regarding business and economic issues relevant to national security.

In this position, responsible to supporting the Director in establishing operational capability-based requirements policy, supporting major commands and modernization programs. These programs include space systems, command and control, missiledefense, cyber, logistics, medical and future cross-domain networkedcapabilities.

The Director of the Inspections Division is to coordinate, conduct, and evaluate inspections of active, reserve and national guard forces and supporting establishment commands, units and activities, including operational forces assigned to the unified and specified commands. The Inspections Division Director also serves as principal advisor to the Inspector General of the Air Force on all inspection policy matters.

• Directed, planned, conducted and monitored all Inspector General activities and was accountable to the Commander for operation and management of all Inspector General programs for multi-service personnel. • Led inspections, complaints processing, fraud, waste, reprisal, and administrative inquiries and investigations. • Executed an inspection program that audited critical areas at 15 operating locations; ensured regulatory compliance and efficient operations; results and trends influenced Commander to make positive personnel changes. • Team lead for adjudication of customer complaints; all resolved up to and including dozens of issues answered to the Department of Defense and Congressional levels; positive organizational outcomes by showing that issues were completely addressed and any required fix-actions were made with full accountability.

In this position, Colonel Wade advises the Principal Assistant Deputy Administrator for Military Application on cost, schedule, and performance of major programs. Colonel Wade is responsible for coordination of nuclear weapon issues among various federal agencies, including senior executive levels of the Joint Staff, USSTRATCOM, U.S. Air Force and Navy staff and various other federal and civilian organizations, national laboratories and weapons plants.
