National Organizing DirectorForward Party Jan 2022 - May 2023Washington, Dc, UsI built the foundation for a new *kind* of political party in the United States, which hadn't been achieved since the Republican Party's establishment 168 years prior. I identified, engaged, empowered and mobilized a national coalition of free-thinkers and problem solvers across the United States. Within the constraints of limited budget and a small team, I exponentially grew Forward Party's volunteer base roughly 10x, to 35,000. I built a massive and cohesive national data and organizing infrastructure, established and reenforced organizing best practices, and cultivated a national state leadership team of 225 across 45 states. I personally built Forward's automated training center, and oversaw field campaigns in 12 target states. I built the foundational roadmap for a national paid field team, and managed the largest department within the organization. -
TravelCareer Break Jul 2019 - Dec 2021After leaving my career at an incredible software company to hop on an airplane and backpack South America in July of 2019, I spent the first eight months of Coronavirus writing, recording, editing and producing the 30-episode first season of the Baggage Claim podcast (roughly 120,000 words and 8 hours of immersive, first-person content). I then built a robust marketing strategy that incorporated components of my expertise in political organizing and sales and in-depth research into content marketing. The show launched to roughly double the downloads of an average podcast's ninety-day totals in just one day, immediately catapulting Baggage Claim to the top 5% of podcast listenership.
