I was the HHS Lead and primary technical representative for the Healthcare Threat Operations Center (HTOC). The HTOC is the Federal Healthcare and Public Health partnership for information sharing and analysis.

I am currently the HHS representative to the Healthcare Threat Operations Center, which is a partnership between Health and Human Services the Department of Veterans Affairs and Defence Health Agency. My day to day responsibilities include communicating cyber threats and countermeasures that HHS is currently being affected by. I am also assisting the Research and Forensics team with pentesting as time allows. My position requires constant communication with the HHS Computer Security Incident Response Center technicians as well as collaborating with HHS Office of Security and Strategic Information Cyber Threat Intelligence team to develop a holistic site picture for the partnership. This requires the ability to effectively communicate verbally, in writing as well as in person. I recently attended SANS FOR578 Cyber Threat Intelligence training providing validation to the work I am currently performing for HHS.

I was a Cyber Security Engineer/Analyst supporting Navy Information Dominance Forces. My roles included assisting with Tenable Nessus with Security Center installations (ACAS) and McAfee HBSS documentation and TACMEMO development. My day to day duties included establishment of requirements, gaps related to fleet CND/IA initiatives, concept development, drafting of various forms of doctrine including CONOPS, TTPs, TACMEMOs and white papers. As well as evaluation and validation of the contents of such documents and the transition of their contents into doctrine.I participated in weekly staff planning meetings, briefings, and VTCs as required. I attended meetings,conferences, and workshops regarding current and future doctrine/requirements development and integration on behalf of IDFOR N84. This included ship visits to local ports to validate fleet requirements.

As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer provide direct support for completing technical assessment tasks associated with A&A IA Control assessments and package development. These tasks include conduct vulnerability scans using approved automated security tools, capture IS hardware and software inventory, identify and verify hostnames and Internet Protocol address domains, mapping accreditation boundaries, and develop network architecture diagrams. This position supports daily Network Operations and Help Desk Management. A Tier II Network Engineer is responsible for the management, performance and upkeep of all wide area network, and campus area network services to include routers, switches, crypto, multiplexing components, network services, and other functions inherent to network management.The DPOC 2nd Tier Engineer is responsible for the daily management of all networking devices within the DCGS Architecture. Provide level 2 troubleshooting and help desk support of the DCGS network at the core and remote locations. Completely understands the PEDS Architecture and security issues within. Acts as senior Operations Engineer capable of working with outside agencies to resolve network related issues. Works with DPOC Tier III staff on optimizing CAN routers, switches and cryptographic devices, providing recommendations for improvements to the DCGS Network.
