Capital IQ is a web-based financial information and analytics platform. The company was founded in 1999 and I joined the founders shortly thereafter. I was responsible for overseeing all product design, development, infrastructure and technology support.

We built our business mostly organically to over $300m in revenue and 5000 people when I left in April 2011. I was responsible for overseeing all product design, development, infrastructure and technology support and involved with all operations of the business.

Sapient was a great place back in the late 90s. I don't know too much about it now, but then we did all on-shore fixed-time/fixed-price development for big corporations, governments, etc. I worked on projects for Fleet (Bank of America), Ernst and Young, Compaq, and several smaller companies. I left in 1999 for a startup but loved every minute of my Sapient career.
