I am involved with the concept development of flooring systems and technologically advanced flooring products, which includes the application of under-floor water heating systems.The products above includes self-compacting underlays and decorative self-smoothing through-coloured cement-based overlays of which one of the products is a fast-track polishable terrazzo looking flooring solution.I work closely with our local manufacturing facilities and their laboratories in developing these products. I am actively involved in marketing this range of products which can only be installed by our network of approved applicators. As such I am also involved with the training of said applicators and thus provide on-site training and technical assistance. This is done with the client’s interest at heart to provide stunning floors for commercial, residential and industrial applications, as these products can only be applied with proper training and technical support and supervision.As these products are available through a countrywide network of warehousing facilities, I assist with the route-to-market logistics and supply chain administration. I am also involved in developing tooling and equipment to assist our approved applicators in installing these products.I am actively involved in building the country-wide network of approved applicators to support the product range and are continuously visiting architects, interior designers, developers and other specifiers to inform and educate them about these products and flooring solutions.
