William “Willie” Degel, owner of New York’s Uncle Jack’s Steakhouses and Jack’s Shack all-natural eatery and star of the new Food Network hit series “Restaurant Stakeout” has brought a brand new face and standard to high end New York steakhouses and a whole new awareness of the behind the scenes workings of the restaurant / hospitality industry to the public with his TV show that’s dominating the ratings on network cable TV.His phenomenal assent into the highest ranks of America’s top restaurateurs, along with his national recognition for excellence and setting the bar for service developed at an early age, working multiple odd jobs to help fund the parochial school education his parents demanded of their sons. Even though his father worked two jobs, his mother pushed her sons to work to help fund their education. The youngest of four boys, Willie learned at a young age the importance of hard work and the value of taking risks.
