Complete equipment layout, piping layout, general arrangement drawings, piping isometrics, and structural detail drawings.Evaluate the scope of work using P&ID's and specifications to design piping systems while adhering to plant design standards. Display a working knowledge of industry standard drafting practices, good mechanical aptitude and general knowledge of engineering . Execute design and draughting activities (Concept, Front End Engineering Development, Technical Study & Detailed Design). Prepare structural drawings and designs from agreed work scopes with minimum input from engineering personnel. Achieve safety standards as defined in personal performance contract. Responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems and processes. Carry out work in accordance with company and project Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems. Carry out site surveys. Check the detail of drawings including the piping isometrics.The design of the Sasol 1 Denim Maintenance Redundancy Project (DMR).In coperated the scan in model and the new model ensuring that there were no clashes with the excisting plant.

Responsible for all changes that is done on site to go with process design and client approval. Reroute pipes that was clashing with equipment and structure steel all over the plant. Done designing on site for equipment that was not done.
