Enterprise Storage Production Group/IDM DX Sustaining• Responsible for reproducing field issues within the lab to root cause system failures and provide solutions. • Used PQM and Bugzilla system to manage incoming sustaining issues. Enterprise HDD Storage Production Group• Designed and developed Client/Server application architecture to automate the testing procedure used by the Enterprise HDD Engineers. The architecture utilizes the Python Twisted Network, FAST API, and varies third party software packages. • Facilitated the testing of HDD and SSD performance, power and other vital measures. Executed tests on remote clients running Windows Server 2008. • Managed the Microsoft SQL Server that stored the performance, power and validation data. Also designed the database scheme and relationships used to generate reports.• Developed perspective broker model which allows the passing of objects as well as data. The perspective broker allows different servers to access software API making automation possible by chaining together remote processes. The system design also includes a dashboard to manage tests and analyze data in addition to report generation. The dashboard was developed using django a python base web server framework. This dashboard seamlessly integrates with SQL Server giving the users direct access to the data. The application also interacted with the HDD and SDD using SCSI Commands being used through the controller card.

Undergraduate Researcher/Signal Processing Programmer• Wrote undergraduate thesis in the field of Applied Physics in regards to signal processing. Presented the results at the ASEE conference. • Developed coded with algorithms performing signal convolutions, Gaussian based noised distortions, Morrison Noise Removal and the Monte Carlo Imagine Restoration technique. Algorithms were written using Fortran 77 on a Unix mainframe system to create the digital image restoration software, which use the Morrison Noise Removal Technique• Developed Assemble Language code to control mechanical devices as part of paid research grant in the field of mechatronics for the College of Mechanical Engineering.
