As a Network Delivery Architect, I was responsible for the end-to-end architecture of a Delivery, including its assembly and integration into the IT architecture principles defined with the client. I have defined the system's structure, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation, firmware, and IOS upgrades. I was responsible for managing and mitigating technical risks, ensuring that the underlying technology components can realistically deliver the delivery services. Reviewed Change Orders for approval, review, and suggesting improvements for Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

During my tenure, I have performed a wired network assessment of their current environment and defined new subnets for each segment of the hospital's local Network and Clinics and installed firmware upgrades, and configured dual Cisco Nexus 9300's as core datacenter switches to replace Nortel cores running in parallel with protocols such as VRF, HSRP, and OSPF. Installed and configured Cisco Nexus 9300's as Top of Rack switches for Tri-City Medical Center to support their EMC Storage and VxRails as well as Cisco 2232 (FEX's) Fabric Extenders. I have installed and configured Cisco 9500 Catalyst switches as the distribution layer for all the IDF's and configured Cisco Catalyst 9300 switches to replacing all IDF Nortel and Baystack switches. I have configured management IP's and TACACS authentication on all local hospital switches and all clinics and troubleshoot any existing L2/L3 issues at Tri-City Medical Center.

I have performed a wired network assessment of their current environment, evaluated wiring closet, took pictures, and collected information on switch and router models, configurations, etc. and internal and external facing network and interconnect connections. I have conducted multiple interviews with the client regarding their LAN/WAN environment.

I have performed a wired network assessment for the environment and ran LanSweeper and NetBrain to assemble a network diagram for their environment. I defined new subnets for each segment of the hospital's local Network and Clinics and installed firmware upgrades, and configured dual Cisco Nexus 5672's as core datacenter routers to replace Extreme cores running parallel with VRF, OSPF, and HSRP. I have installed and configured a Cisco ISR4451 as a gateway router between LaPorte Hospital and the adjacent clinics. Redesigned and configured the Clinic's Cisco 3560's, 2960's & 2950's switches to support the new IP scheme and configured management IP's and TACACS authentication all local hospital switches as well as all clinics. Troubleshoot any existing L2 and L3 routing issues at the LaPorte hospital and Clinics.

During my tenure, I have coordinated with Management and Engineers to put together a Bill of Materials for a new hospital and discussed Network design, Naming Convention, and licensing. Provided Visio Network Design, installed, and implemented Brocade 7750's as the core datacenter routers and 7450's as the distribution switches in a controlled warehouse environment and updated boot flash code and firmware on Brocade 7750's and 7450's. Installed and configured VCS fabric on Brocade VDX 6740 as the backend platform and provided network documentation for packing and shipment.

I have reviewed the current setup and configuration of Netgear and Brocade switches and troubleshoot connection issues between the 7750's and Netgear switches. Configured VLANs on the 7750's and 7450's and updated firmware, Installed and configured 7450's for SJMH clinics, and participated in the SJMH status meeting cutover strategy to replace the existing Netgear switches. Installed, updated firmware, and configured VCS fabric and license keys on Brocade VDX 6740 and tested VDX6740 and 7450 connectivity to servers on the 7750 cores, wireless and voice connectivity the 7750 cores. Helped troubleshoot existing Netgear switches with Aruba wireless AP's and provided network and clinic topology documentation

As a Sr. Network Engineer, I was responsible for three other Network Engineers, Network Infrastructure, and project assignments. Monitored and maintain Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise network infrastructure and 10gig backbone via SolarWinds and Brocade Network Advisor and facilitated Network Design meetings for new projects with department managers and other Team Leads. I was accountable for maintaining the appropriate firmware revision levels on various Brocade and Foundry switches and routers throughout Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise and providing a Network budget for each fiscal year based on the current and future projects. Our Day-to-Day Production support for the following Data Centers and Plazas, which included-Troubleshooting User Connectivity, Service Desk Tickets, LAN/WAN, VoIP, Fiber Installation, Ethernet Installation, Hardware Installation, Switch, and Router Installations and Circuit provisioning with MFN (AT&T). The list of Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise Toll plaza’s that my team and I successfully upgraded: Tolls Data Center (Boca Raton, FL), Orlando Data Center (Orlando, FL), Pompano Data Center (Pompano, FL), Turkey lake Headquarters (Orlando, FL), Snapper Creek Plaza (Miami, FL), Sunrise Plaza (Sunrise, FL), West Palm Beach Plaza (Palm Beach, FL), Fort Pierce Plaza (Orlando, FL), Suncoast/Land O Lakes (Tampa, FL), and Polk/Lakeland (Lake Land, FL).I have successfully provisioned the removal of frame relay circuits throughout FTE in preparation for installing MetroE circuits where our 10gig backbone did not support and the task with testing, evaluating, and troubleshooting to bringing Sunpass.com in-house. I have rebuilt the core infrastructure to support Layer 3 OSPF routing off our Bigiron 1600's chassis to our new NetIron MLX routers.
