Currently working as the Technical Lead/Project Lead for the IST CARE Team in the IST Customer Information Service (CIS) area. The team’s key functions are to design and develop changes to CIS focusing on the Accounts Receivables Controls system, General Ledger Revenue System, Credit and Collection system and the Budge Billing Plan System while ensuring system performance and reliability are inline with strategic business needs. I work closely with our internal customers as well as management from both the business and technical support team to analyze business requirements and architect solutions. Other duties include:*Serve as the leader of the developers and business analysts*Gather requirements from end-user groups, work with end users to create business specifications, help to create test plans and determine production schedules*Analyze business requirements, architect solutions and provided technical specifications from which the programmers can develop code.*Conduct weekly code reviews with development staff to ensure all deliverable meet and/or exceed established quality standards*Update our Change Management Log (CML) database weekly to track progress and update status on Program Change Requests (PCR).*Provide mentoring and guidance to junior developers on coding best practices and methodologies

Served as Project Manager helping to implement various projects for different companys that included BELK Stores, First Union, Ahold USA and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of SC.

Worked primarily as programmer/analyst to help develop insurance policy management software.
